Karakul Lake - The most beautiful high-altitude lake in Xinjiang, about 3,600 meters above sea level. It is located on the east side of the Muztagh Ata (Ice-Mountain-Father). White Sand Lake - The sand by the lakeside is not the commonly seen yellow in colour, but milky white. The white sand dunes, snow-capped mountains, white clouds, blue lake and sky blend together to generate a dreamlike fairy tale.
