Day 1: KL – Urumqi

Meals: MOB (Meal On Board), L, D

• Assemble at KLIA (Kuala Lumpur International Airport) at least 3 hours before departure.

• Depart for Urumqi, the capital of Xinjiang, China.

• Upon arrival, complete immigration and customs.

• Transfer to hotel in Urumqi.

• Check-in and rest after your long journey.

• Light local sightseeing or orientation if time permits.

Day 2: Urumqi – Korla

Meals: B, L, D

• Breakfast at hotel.

• Drive or take domestic transport to Korla, a city in central Xinjiang.

• Visit Bosten Lake Scenic Area, one of China’s largest inland freshwater lakes.

  • Enjoy a scenic cruise on the lake, known for reeds, birds, and calm waters.

• Dinner and overnight stay in Korla.

Day 3: Korla – Kuqa

Meals: B, L, D

• Breakfast and then travel to Kuqa, an ancient Silk Road town.

• Explore  (Kezi’er Canyon):

  • Dramatic red rock formations, narrow gorges, and breathtaking landscapes.

• Visit Guizi Alley, a historic district with cultural remnants of the ancient Guizi Kingdom.

Day 4: Kuqa – Wada (Hotan region)

Meals: B, L, D

• Travel along the Taklamakan Desert Highway, one of the longest desert roads in the world.

• Experience surreal desert scenery with possible photo stops.

• Arrive at Hotan Tuan City, known for its strong Uyghur heritage.

• Explore the local markets or cultural districts.

• Overnight stay in or near Wada (Hotan region).

Day 5: Hotan – Kashgar

Meals: B, L, D

• Drive to Kashgar, a legendary Silk Road city near the western border of China.

• Visit Shache Palace, a cultural relic and historical site.

• Stroll through Old Town Kashgar, known for its authentic Uyghur homes and alleys.

• Explore Tomb of Shaqa, a historical mausoleum.

• See the famous Aitigar Mosque, one of the largest in China.

Day 6: Kashgar – Karakuri Lake – Kashgar (Day trip)

Meals: B, L, D

• Drive along the scenic Karakoram Highway.

• Visit Karakuri Lake (Lake Karakul), located at 3,600m altitude, with majestic views of Muztagh Ata peak.

• Stop by Baisha Lake (White Sand Lake), a shimmering desert lake.

• Explore Fule, a local scenic or cultural spot.

• Visit the Wisdom Garden, a peaceful location with historical or philosophical themes.

• Return to Kashgar for overnight stay.

Day 7: Kashgar – Aksu

Meals: B, L, D

• Travel to Aksu, an agricultural and cultural hub.

• Visit Xiangfei Garden, a memorial park dedicated to the “Fragrant Concubine.”

• Tour Sulitang Maza, likely a religious or cultural site.

• Overnight in Aksu.

Day 8: Aksu – Korla

Meals: B, L, D

• Travel back toward Korla.

• Stop at Wensu Grand Canyon, known for its colorful rock formations.

  • Includes a ride on an interval car (shuttle or rail) through the canyon.

• Visit Kuqa Temple, a Buddhist heritage site.

• Explore Kuqa Old Street, full of traditional Uyghur culture, food, and architecture.

• Continue to Korla for overnight stay.

Day 9: Korla – Urumqi

Meals: B, L, D

• Travel back to Urumqi.

• Free time for shopping at Xinjiang International Bazaar, a vibrant market for spices, carpets, souvenirs, and local snacks.

• Dinner

Day 10: Urumqi – KL

Meals: B, MOB

• Breakfast at hotel.

• Transfer to Urumqi Airport.

• Catch your return flight to Kuala Lumpur.

• Arrive KL with memories of the Silk Road adventure!
