Today’s tour of Srinagar includes the Mughal Gardens (Nishat & Shalimar), created by the famous Mughal Emperors, situated on the banks Dal-Lake in the backdrop of Zabarwan hills encircles the Lake. Next visit Tulip Garden of Srinagar which has been recently opened to public by Mrs. Sonia Gandhi. (Tulip Festival 5 April to 15 April )
A day excursion to Gulmarg by surface, exquisitely situated in a pine surrounded basin of the Pir Panjal range at an altitude of 2730 meters above sea level, discovered by the British in the 19th century and has the world’s highest green golf courses with 18 holes. Today early morning, enjoy one of the most soothing & relaxing Shikara boat rides on the lake. Fly back to Delhi, where upon arrival you will depart by surface for the “pink city” of Jaipur, the old city is surrounded by a massive wall pierced by magnificent gates. Spend your evening relaxing after your full-day long journey.
Today, you are transported back in time, riding royally atop elegantly draped and painted elephants ride to the mountain fortress of Amber fort, a superb example of Rajput architecture with its complex of palaces, temples and ornate apartments. This afternoon’s tour of Jaipur takes you to drive past Hawa Mahal or “Palace of Winds” and continues to City Palace, with its latticed balconies, tiny windows, cupolas, courtyards and arched entrances. A stop at the ancient observatory (Jantar Mantar) concludes the tour.
Today morning you will depart by surface for Agra. In the afternoon, explore the 16th century Agra Fort with its battlements, apartments, gardens and audience halls. This powerful fortress of red sandstone encompasses, within its 2.5-km-long enclosure walls, the imperial city of the Mughal rulers. Enjoy an extended visit to the magnificent Taj Mahal known as the most opulent wonder of the modern world and witness its transformation as the monument reflects the warm glow of sunset.
This morning you will depart by surface for Delhi, upon arrival check in at the hotel. Continue on to capital city of Delhi; where upon arrival embark on a tour of New Delhi, where ornate buildings recall the days when India was the gem in the crown of the British Empire. Drive along Rajpath, the capital’s broadest avenue, for a view of the Parliament House, the President’s House and India Gate (War Memorial Arch). Visit the Qutab Minar built by Qutub-ud-Din Aibek I n1199 from sandstone and marble. Next visit Delhi Hatt Market for wide range of product from India.
This morning’s guided sightseeing tour of the Old Delhi includes the drive past of Red Fort,visit Jamia Masjid, Raj Ghat – a memorial to Mahatma Gandhi, Ashoka Pillar and the mile-long Chandni Chowk bazaar. The afternoon is at leisure to relax, pursue independent activities and last minute shopping opportunity. Today you are transferred to the International Airport for your flight back home.
